Hi guys, there is this link Newsletters on the front page and other pages, I want to know how to remove the wording " Sign up to receive environmental news and updates" and Can i use the same widget for newsletters ? I mean can people sign up from that ?
You can edit the text in Appearance -> Widgets -> Prefooter 1:
The form itself is built with Contact Form 7. Go to Contact and Search for the Subscribe (align right) form. The bare minimum change required here is the recipient in the mail tab (To: field), you should add your email here, so that you will actually be recieving the emails for subscribtions.
In Theme Options you will find additional prefooter appearence options. It is possible to change the number of columns, colors, or even turn it off, if you don't need it:
