Resizing Columns Ignored with Static Blocks

When nesting a static block that has Responsive Options set to force certain layouts in Tablet/Mobile sizes, they are wholly ignored on the front end — all the columns collapse into a single column regardless the selected settings.

Is there a way to address this?

    Hi,

I just created a test page,
I created a static block, then displayed it on the page using the Static block widget. I've added the 4/2/2 columns per row setting as on your screenshot. It displays correctly on my installation. Here is the video: https://jmp.sh/kamLe3p
    And the settings:

If you can, please share a direct link to your example, so i can check it in the browser and see what is causing the issue.

    Kind regards,

    Andrej

Put that static block into a 2 column layout and see if it still works. I have a single column to the left and the Static Block on the right.

    GOAL:

    Desktop: 5 columns

    Mobile: 1 column alone ---------
                  (4 other columns 2+2)

    Hi,

What are your settings on the parent row?

Parent Row settings are all set to "default"

If you set the parent row tablet layout to 1 in row, then the tablet layout will be the same as mobile layout:

Is this what you were looking for?

The problem on persists when the layout is nested via the static block widget. In testing/viewing the Static block as it's own native post it works as described.

once it's nested it no longer scaffolds properly.

Well the only thing that comes to mind is to check your page builder settings.
Please check if your settings match the ones on the screenshot.

I hope this helps. If not, the only way for me to find out what is causing the issue, is to see the example in the browser.

It's identical to yours. I've also tried reverting to the default theme (was using a child theme) — still no joy. :/

Yes, the settings seem correct. Would you provide a link please?
