I'm trying to download the suggested plugin "Revolution Slider WP" but when I install it through the notice on my managed WordPress it says the destination folder already exists and the plugin installation has failed. When I go to my plugins, the Revolution Slider is not there. I tried to download it manually but I cannot find this plugin through a search. I can't imagine this would have any effect, but I am using a staging site. It lists this plugin as recommended, but I don't want to move forward with downloading the demo materials until it is downloaded in case that causes any issues. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!
If the folder is already created on the server, you will need to delete it. You can do this either through your hosting dashboard, FTP, or with a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-file-manager/
Go to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete the revslider folder.
Then try to install it again. I can attach the revslider plugin in a private reply if the remote installation doesn't work.
