today i need to contact you because there is another problem i cant get fixed by myself. I use a slider like you can see on the related url. The problem is I would like to have the slider/slides like it is now ( exactl this size), but want to have a background left and right of the slider, so there should not be any white stripes left and right of the slider on larger screens. How can I solve this?

Hi,
instead of standard row layout, you can use "Full Width":
Then you can add #ededed as the background color.This will keep the slider the same size, but the background will cover whole screen width.
