i would like to use the "gallery widget" to show the pictures and hover a text as is does. But i would like to add links, so each picture links to another url. How can I do this? Can you please help?
I now tried to create a new row with 3 columns and add the "image widget" in each . Now the link problem is solved, but the 3 elements do not appear in one row. What to do?
The gallery widget currently does not have an option to add custom links, but this is something we might add in the future. I will suggest it to the developer.
In the meanwhile I recommend using multiple image widgets.
I attached a basic starting layout which you can import to your page under Layouts -> Import/Export.
thanks for your quick reply. But it still doesnt work. I added your attached layout example and still got only 2 elements in a row as you can see at https://www.laserzentrum-ostbayern.de/behandlungen/ . Why does it not work?
I see, that it goes to two in row on smaller screens (tablets). In the latest Dentalia version it never displays two in row. always three, except on mobile:
i just tried another computer and also tested on firefox, edge and chrome. Always the same result (2 images in a row) then the third in an extra row. The same twice as in the example file you sent.
Ok, you are right. I dont have the latest version yet. Is there any way to loose my pages and settings I built, by upgrading? Can you recommend any way of updating? Can I make a backup?
Can you update Dentalia to the latest version (1.8.0.1) and see if this resolves the issue?
You can just replace the folder wp-content/themes/dentalia on the server with the new theme, or use Envato market plugin to update from the WordPress dashboard.
thanks for your message. I would prefer to make a backup before upgrading. Can you recommend any way to backup the whole wordpress site I created so far?
You might be right. There could be some page builder setting. Please check if your Page builder settings match the ones below:
Make sure that "Use tablet layout" is turned off and that Tablet Width and Mobile width are as on the screenshot. Dentalia is using Bootstrap media queries (for screen size) and it will work best if page builder has the same breakpoints for mobile and tablet mode.
I hope this helps. Please keep me updated about the issue. Kind regards,

Additionally:
If you want to have the images in one row, you can use the Layout Builder widget.
Basically you add it to a row and then build a layout inside the widget.
Example layout attached.

I personally backup the old-fashioned way, To create a zip of all the files, and then I also backup the database (using phpMyAdmin).
There are of course many other options as well. Here are two plugins, any of it should work:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/

Hello,
I now updated to Version 1.8.0.1 but the problem still persists. What else can I do? I do get only 2 elements instead of three in a row!

Can you share admin username and password (in a private reply) so we can check the settings and try to find what is causing the issue?
