    Hello,

    I want to change the background colour of the header widget area to the same colour in the demo, a light grey. I haven't been able to figure out how to do that.

    Could you please direct me to where to go?

    Hi,

    The background and text color can be set in Theme Options -> Header & Menu. Scroll bellow to "Classic Header Widget Area Settings":
