Universal static blocks

Is it possible to have universal blocks? i.e. when they are updated in one place the content updates where ever that block appears on the site.

It would be useful for pricing table & contact form on this site.

I've created a static block for the contact form, but if i update it the changes aren't being pulled through across the site.

    Hi,

Static blocks feature was built exactly for such situations. When you change content in a static blocks, it changes the content everywhere the static block is displayed. And this is how it works: First you create a static block, then you can use static block widget (or a shortcode) to display it on any page/post.

Now if the changes aren't being displayed, then please check the following:

    1. Is the right (version of) static block being displayed?

    2. Is there some caching plugin installed? Solution: clear cache

    3. Did something went wrong with saving the static block content for some reason? Try adding a small change to it and save it again?

I hope this helps resolving the issue. If not, please share your username and password and I will check.

    Kind regards,
    Andrej

    Hi

That works! I was adding the static block into the page as a layout instead of a static block widget.

The only problem is i can't get rid of the white space below this on the Membership page - i've set the padding on the row and widget to 0 but i still get a white section. I've checked the settings against the Home page (where there is no white bar) and it all looks the same.

I've cleared the cache as well.

Do you have any ideas about the settings here?

    Hi,

I think there is 100px bottom padding set on the CF7 widget:

I think you should be able to find the setting here:

    Hi

I took the 100px padding off the bottom of the contact form - it's made the form closes to the bottom of the blue section but the shite bit is still there.

The static block is fine on the home page but not on the membership plans page.

    Hi,

I don't see the padding anymore, so this part seems OK.
On the http://rhdp.uk.w3pcloud.com/membership-plans/ I see the white bg color space below the contact form.

You can remove it by checking the "Remove Bottom Spacing" on the page edit screen:
