There actually is a sidebar option already in the Theme options. It is somewhat linked to the blog and archive pages sidebar settings. The search page displays the same sidebars as the blog page. You can remove the sidebars From Theme Options -> Blog , under Blog Layout:
And the sidebar will not display. This will also modify the blog sidebars, category pages and such.
If there is a need to change just the search page, this can be done too (involves custom development) by copying the template file search.php file to the child theme and customising it.
Hello!
Where can I modify the "Search results" page. I want to remove the right side bar.
Thanks!
