I'm using the Featured Pages widget on the homepage but I can't seem to find the Excerpt section to change what it says. When I edit the page, I don't see anywhere that I can change the content in the Excerpt. Where can I find this?
When you are on the page edit screen, click on the "Screen Options", then add a checkmark next to the "Excerpt". Now you will be able to see the excerpt panel:
