I've got an issue with Page Builder (updated it to the latest version). When I click on a box to edit, it shows me the attached screen instead of the modal window to edit its content. What can I do?
The reason for this issue is Wordfence. It is actively blocking everything what seems suspicious, including in this case the call to the WordPress wp-ajax.php file, which provides data for the Site Origin Editor through Ajax.
I don't know much about Wordfence configuration, but I know it allows whitelisting events. I whitelisted the editor call to wp-ajax.php for you. When I tested again, everything worked.
If you experience something similar with another widget, you can go to Wordfence -> Tools -> Live trafiic, then click the eye next to the logged event when you got blocked, the event details will show up, then whitelist it:

Hi,
Could you provide us with admin access for your WordPress, so we can check what is causing this?
Please reply privately, so your credentials won't be publicly visible.
Kind regards,

For further Wordfence optimisation and its Page builder compatibility, you can create an issue on https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wordfence or contact the author of the plugin.
